The Band created an original promotional concept with Lorna Jane Active Living and Outrigger Resorts for two major markets, Australia and USA. Our two key objectives were to make Outrigger Resorts top of mind for Australians seeking Hawaiian Accommodation, and to reward the loyalty of Lorna Jane’s customers.
Lorna Jane were opening their first store in Hawaii. As part of the celebration we developed two international prizes for a Winner and friend to go to Hawaii too, staying in an ocean front room at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort for 7 nights, and flying Hawaiian Airlines, including a $500 Lorna Jane Gift Voucher to spend.
We ran the same promotion throughout North America where Lorna Jane Active Living are headquartered in Santa Monica managing a growing number of US retail stores. This allowed us to use international social media and open the opportunity to as many Lorna Jane customers as possible.
To create authentic imagery, a leading blogger stayed in an oceanfront room at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and was photographed enjoying active living in her Lorna Jane activewear, at the destination. The stunning location shots delivered an incredible amount of interaction across social channels. The #ljactiveatoutrigger hashtag accompanied the posts.
The Band worked with closely with Lorna Jane to develop digital and retail campaigns featuring the active imagery at Outrigger Resorts and the response to the promotion was enormous. It had high engagement with the Lorna Jane sisterhood and attracted an extraordinary number of competition entries and opt-ins, a sign of an outstanding brand partnership.
