Authentic Brand Alignment retail promotion between Bunnings Trade and Renault TRAFIC.

With COVID19 causing unrest in the retail marketplace the targeted national promotion between Bunnings Trade and Renault Vans was a little different this year.  The Australian (“Tax Time”)  promotion was determined to run during a more open and active in-store period, being October/November 2020.

During this time Bunnings Trade were able to continue business as normal, offering their full range of products and services to the Trade and contactless purchasing through their PowerPass App.  

Tradies signed up to PowerPass membership choose Bunnings Trade for their large product range, convenient locations, long opening hours and easy access, many returning several times each week.  

The promotion was supported by retail point of sale, digital website and eDM communications, and a radio media campaign.  

By having a targeted promotion to the Trade, it meant The Band could actively promote Renault TRAFIC and the Exclusive Offer to Bunnings Trade, ($500 worth of genuine Renault accessories with any Renault van purchase).  This meant Renault could run a strong promotion during a time where normal stores would not have been able to capture consumers or visit vehicle Dealerships in many States. 

The brand partnership harnessed the mobile office power of the Renault TRAFIC to Bunnings Tradies and the entries and interest was outstanding.
